Summer Activities
Hunting
Throughout the 80 acres, there are hunting stands and blinds
available to you. Head on out and get hunting!
Fishing
Whether you are fishing off the pier or the pontoon. Portage Lake is full of fish. Walleye, Perch, Pike and Bass are just some of the fish you will encounter in 2,100 acre lake.
Watersports
The Barn is full of fun things to do out on the water. Go tubing behind the pontoon, jet around on one of the Sea Doo Sparks or just head out for a leisurely cruise. You are sure to be busy on the water.

Skiing and Snowboarding
The O'Barn is conveniently located 20 minutes away from Crystal Mountain ski resort. Need gear? Crystal has rental equipment available if you need to rent skis or snowboards.
Ice Fishing
Portage Lake offers some of the best ice fishing in northern Michigan. If you're willing to brave the cold, you are sure to catch fish.
Snow Mobiling
There are tons of places to take the snowmobiles. The O'Barn is conveniently located near the Manistee National Forest trailhead and countless county roads.
Take one of the 5 ORV's and explore the ever expanding network of trails.
